1. Context & Political Background
Recently, RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav condemned the use of derogatory language against Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s late mother at a joint RJD–Congress rally in Bihar. While distancing himself from such remarks, Tejashwi also pointed out that BJP leaders too have made disrespectful statements against women.
This statement highlights Tejashwi’s strategy of balancing moral ground with political attack, a reflection of his positioning as the principal challenger to CM Nitish Kumar and the BJP-led NDA in the 2025 Bihar Assembly election.
In my earlier analysis, I discussed CM Nitish Kumar’s astrological prospects. Now, I turn to Tejashwi Yadav, the CM candidate of RJD, to evaluate whether he can unseat Nitish Kumar and form government.
